Licensed by the Central Bank of the UAE, botim provides payment services and operates a stored value facility.
International transfers can currently be sent only through the botim app. The botim website is for browsing and trying the experience, and does not support sending transfers yet.
To make a transfer in the app:
- Open International Transfer in botim.
- Enter the AED amount and select the beneficiary's country to view the exchange rate and fees.
- Select or add a beneficiary, confirm the details, and proceed to pay.
- Choose a payment method linked to your botim Wallet, complete the transfer, and track its status in botim.
To send money internationally with botim, you need:
- UAE mobile number (+971) registered on botim.
- Valid Emirates ID (EID) to complete KYC verification.
- Beneficiary details, such as the beneficiary's full name and the required payout information (e.g., bank account/IBAN for bank transfers, or other details depending on the delivery method).
Once these are available, you can make an international transfer in the botim app.
Yes. After you complete KYC, limits apply per transfer, per day, and per month. Limits vary by destination country and transfer method, and you'll see the exact limits in the app.
